Tide Method Barre

Our Barre stands out from the others! Daisy’s experience teaching and studying group fitness over the last 7 years has lead to this…….

You can expect to feel welcomed and celebrated whether it’s your 1st or 100th class. Classes are simple to book here, no messing about with bank transfers and keeping track of how many of your block bookings you have used, it’s all in your account! This efficiency means that we can also track your classes and celebrate with you when you reach milestones.

Barre Signature’s road map starts with a warm up, arms, then onto leg work, a nice flowy stretch, seat-work, and then down to the floor for core, abs and back strengthening, ending with a fun finisher in bridge, ending with a long stretch to reset you for the rest of your day.

Barre Flow’s slower but by no means easy. Starting with a gentle warm up using the breath, then floor work focusing on the core and hamstrings. Moving to standing and the focus shifts to strength and balance flows. After the first half of class the dynamic and static stretching is introduced which covers the rest of the class, ending with a mindfulness relaxation. This class is great to do before or after one of the more intense classes!

Barre Cardio’s Think of Signatures more energetic sibling. The format is similar but there are a few bursts of cardio spread throughout class. The movements are bigger and the class feels more dynamic. If you are working on building your cardiovascular endurance, this is a great addition to your training. But the cardio sections are quick, so you can take from it what you want.

All classes are sequenced by Daisy and some elements stay the same for a few months to allow you to get the hang of the series, this also allows you to work on alignment and correct execution of certain exercises. Expect to feel challanged, lengthened, strengthened, energised and fullfilled.
